As part of an Erasmus+ project schools in Wales, Romania, Spain and Turkey have been looking at the importance of cultural heritage.  As part of our dissemination programme we have developed the following workshop

• Tackling prejudice through high quality cultural teaching
• How do you teach culture well?

In this interactive workshop, we explore how to tackle prejudice through high-quality global learning, based on lessons learned in the My Place, Your Place, Our Place project. This 90-minute workshop will include an overview of “good practice” developed across classrooms internationally and an opportunity to try out global citizenship tools for yourself. The session aims to share techniques that extend critical thinking and support multi perspective approaches to ethical citizenship within the classroom. It is also a fantastic opportunity to observe innovative techniques in the classroom, engage with emerging research on citizenship education and meet fellow practitioners.
